Job Summary:As a retail travel consultant and operator, you will primarily handle enquiries from direct customers and booking request from your colleagues within a busy retail travel office, and make reservations for all areas of retail travel including package holidays, flights & city breaks.You will be flexible to tailor-make holidays & travel itineraries for customers with scheduled flights and various ground products (hotels, car hire, etc), and up-sell various ancillary services to help maximize the revenue & profit on each individual booking.You will also handle all after sales administration including taking payments and handling ticket dispatch, and have the ability to offer all customers excellent destination & product knowledge.
Responsibilities:● Make eye contact and greets all customers; identify and attend to customer by name, verify tour confirmation and reservations, thank each customer at the conclusion of their service.
● Answer customer questions and provide assistance based on each customer's needs and requests. This job responsibility requires keen understanding of the differences between tour products and services offered in Hawaii.
● Ensure a pleasant, smooth and efficient handling of each booking, and reports customer review or feedback to ensure a customer service stratification.
● Make an efficient and friendly cooperation with co-workers, and provided essential information and help for each other. Offer all customers assistance with directions, maps, local area information and appropriate service information.
● Answer telephone and reply all incoming emails in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.
● Work on behalf of the customer and the company to resolve issues in a fair and equitable manner to ensure continued customer loyalty.
● Maintain appearance in the office and customer areas to present a neat, orderly and safe condition; ensure office is stocked with appropriate supplies to provide smooth and effective customer service.
● Assist customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and provide the most efficient service possible.
Required Qualifications:● Must ability to read, write, speak and understand English and Chinese (Mandarin) at a fluent level. ● Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Minimum of 1 year experience handling customer service responsibilities. Persuasive written and verbal communication skills will be essential. ● A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required. ● Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Aside from religious observance, must be able to work day shifts which may include weekends and holidays. Able to accept flexible work schedule and may need to help to deal with emergency situation.
● Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
● Previous experience working in similar travel sales or reservations role for an independent or multiple travel agencies will be an advantage.

Great basic salary will be offer for the retail travel consultant depending on experience, along with incentives, travel concessions, educational and other perks to the best industry, and working hours of work from Monday to Sunday (5 full days).
